St. Marcelline's Christ Renews His Parish

NO ONE NEEDS A CRHP WEEKEND.

EVERYONE DESERVES A CRHP WEEKEND!

 The Christ Renews His Parish  is a  simple and effective renewal process that centers around  the Good  News of Jesus Christ.

It takes place within the environment of the parish itself, by calling together its members.  So they can experience

the  love of Jesus and the Christian community, while emphasizing continued personal growth in their spiritual life.

CRHP also strives to revitalize the Parish.

Who conducts the weekend?

The CRHP weekend is conducted by a group of parishioners that is comprised of a Spiritual Director and people who have attended previous weekends.

When and where do these weekends take place?

One weekend for men and one weekend for women takes place each year in the Lent seasons.  They will be conducted in the Family Life Center.

Who may attend?

CRHP is open to all St. Marcelline parishioners ages 21 or older. Others are welcome if space is available.

What happens during the weekend?

You will invest  30 hours over two days examining your relationship with Jesus. The weekend begins with a welcome continental breakfast at 8:00 am
on Saturday morning.  It is followed by a series of presentations given by Team Members. Each presentation is followed by small group discussions & feedback

presentations.  Mingled among the presentations are times of private prayer, group prayer, refreshment breaks, meals and social gathering.

Attendees are invited to stay over Saturday night for continued fellowship. Sunday begins with Pray at 7:00 am followed by breakfast and additional activities.

The day closes with the celebration of Eucharist and dinner. Attendees return home about 4:00 pm refreshed and renewed in the Spirit. There is one follow-up meeting.

Where do I sleep?

Staying overnight is recommended sleeping accommodations are in the Family Life Center. 
You are asked to bring your own sleeping bag, some kind of pad or air mattress and a  pillow, along with your own towel, soap and toiletries that you might need.
If you prefer to sleep at home you will need to return on Sunday at 7:00 am.

What about meals?

Meals are provided by the CRHP community .  There will be opportunities during the weekend for regular

What clothes should I bring?

Casual and comfortable clothing is appropriate for both Saturday and Sunday

What does the weekend cost?

To defray the cost of the weekend, we ask each participant to donate, $40.00 toward the cost of food and supplies, etc. 
All donations are anonymous, any amount is sufficient.
